Noah's First Christmas and More!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas and New Year's with Noah this year! He made everything a little more exciting...when he was awake that is. =)

First Encounter with Snow: Nathan insisted that Noah touch the snow. So, we pulled out some shoes for the occasion.

First Trip to Pick Out a Christmas Tree: We bundled Noah up and prepared for the worst. But, Noah seemed to enjoy the excursion for the most part. By the end of the day, he was definitely tuckered out!

First Christmas Stocking: Melodie's stocking from childhood was filled with "teethers" and toys for Noah this year.

First Encounter with Wrapping Paper: We couldn't quite tell what Noah was thinking about ripping paper.

First Decorated Tree: Noah seemed enthralled with the lights and ornaments on the tree. He could study it for hours! ...ok, just minutes.

First Game with the Grown-ups: If only Noah could talk!

Can't wait to see what next Christmas brings! =)

Noah's Dedication: On January 2nd, 2011, Noah was dedicated at Park View Mennonite Church during the service. Here's a picture of the family that came out for the occasion and picture from our celebration afterwards (complete with Reese's Ice Cream Cake).

  1. Thanks for the update. I was concerned, not having read a message in ages! Glad to see Noah is growing, along with his parents! He is a delight, a joy and a gift!
