A Sign!

Today Melodie received the first natural sign of life in her...... a "bloop" as she puts it. Today during church she felt the fetus move!!!! TWICE!!!! So we are pretty happy about that... knowing how little she has been showing signs of life other than bulging parts of the body.

It was great to spend some time with Nathan's family in NJ earlier this week because of an emergency. Things are getting better... and we really enjoyed being with them for a little unplanned vacation.

Stay tuned for our first pic of the baby this coming weekend following our ultrasound this Thursday.

Sleep in?

Well... needless to say... our lives are certainly showing signs of wear. Although we had things that could be done... a free Saturday had only one priority. We had the priveledge of sleeping in today until 9:00am. That totalled around 11 hours of sleep! Woooo hooo! It was fun talking with Melodie this morning trying to coax her into getting up. She is definitely appreciating her rest, especially when she has to get up to go to the bathroom every few hours. Then we had eggs and toast and fruit, followed by gardening and yard work. The garden is tilled and almost ready for planting. We have musical rehearsal this weekend. I hope to take a few pictures... so hopefully you can see what we're up to.

It's about TIME!

Okay.... this blog post is dedicated to those who have been avid followers of our blog. Sorry to say, it hasn't been much to follow. That will hopefully change as Nathan's schedule should be more free for a while. So, sit back and relax as we bring you our new and improved blog!

Here's Melodie sporting her first Maternity shirt. After her rave reviews at school from anyone that saw her, she had to wear it again.

I believe that she actually looks better than ever as a mom-to-be!

We are keeping our eyes peeled for more cute materity shirts.

We heard the baby's heartbeat again this week and we will return for another appointment in two weeks for our first Ultrasound!!! Yay!
